A Great Day for a Dunk Tank

I was once again reminded that I married the right guy when we both agreed a dunk tank was a "necessity" for our summer party. And today was the day for the dunking festivities. It's oddly unnerving to have someone throwing a softball as hard and fast as they can at a small target in hopes that you take a plunge in to the water below. Every time you hear the softball hit the tarp, instead of the clank of the metal target, you have a sigh of relief. And yet you sit there, on the little perch, like Humpty Dumpty, anxiously waiting for the inevitable - a splash into the tank.
It was an absolute blast. The weather was perfect and our friends were event better. Several dozen people took a turn in the tank and even more tried their hand at hitting the target. There are some pretty funny pics, we've put a link up on the side of our blog to the Snapfish album so you can take a look at all of them.

Thanks to everyone for a fun day!
